In the spirit of the 1930’s Westgate arcade officially launched it’s new look today. There was a band, dancers, a photo booth and the history of Peterborough and the arcade in an empty shop. To be honest it wasn’t much and didn’t really go off with much of a bang. The dancers wee entertaining with period music and dress. All of this on top of the usual weekend crowds, plus match day crowds probably wasn’t such a good Idea, it would have been better held during the week when it’s quieter and could draw in business on those days.
